Job summary

CITADEL is seeking an Outside Plant Technician to support the BEAD Project in the region. The role focuses on installing and maintaining copper and fiber infrastructure, performing splices, and documenting field activity.

You will work under the Outside Plant Supervisor and contribute to project timelines and quality control. Responsibilities include testing with OTDR and power meters, locating faults, and ensuring proper cable termination and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent; technical school desirable.
• Experience: 3 years in outside plant installation and repair for copper and fiber; some قد.
• Certifications for fiber installation are desirable but not required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair Outside Plant infrastructure including copper and fiber.
• Splice copper and fiber, prepare and maintain splicing records and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot fiber with OTDR, power meter, and fiber scope.
• Locate and repair cable faults to prevent service interruptions; support project timelines.
• Review site surveys and design drawings for installation feasibility; maintain company records.
