Job summary

Mainline LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Quality Assurance Manager (MQAM) to oversee fiber network maintenance, reliability, and quality across the Greenville/Spartanburg region. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with multiple teams, and a focus on safety and documentation.

Responsibilities include managing preventive and corrective maintenance, field QA inspections, contractor performance, and ongoing quality improvements to reduce outages and ensure service

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecommunications, fiber optics, outside plant, or related field.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic networks, including aerial and underground OSP facilities.
• Experience with quality assurance, field inspections, audits, or maintenance quality control.
• Knowledge of NESC, OSHA, MUTCD, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, reliability, and quality of fiber network infrastructure across Greenville/Spartanburg area.
• Develop and enforce QA/QC standards; conduct field inspections and audits.
• Lead and develop maintenance and field personnel; manage contractors.
• Monitor outages, troubleshoot, and coordinate restoration to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance across field ops.
