Job summary

Lumen is hiring a Customer Service Technician in Winter Park, FL. The role covers installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-speed internet, video, and voice networks, including wiring and equipment. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, with potential overtime, nights, or weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to distinguish colors on facilities.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at various hours.
• Willingness to complete boot camp training and POTS/DSL installation/repair.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed internet, video and voice networks including associated wiring and equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of outside plant facilities.
• Climb poles, dig with shovel, and work in manholes or vaults as needed.
• Observe safety rules and regulations.
• Support sales and marketing activities and refer customers for additional services.
• Direct customer-facing work and be on-call as needed.
