Job summary

Lumen in Pasco, WA is seeking a Network Technician focused on installation and maintenance to support copper and fiber networks, GPON, DSL, POTS and related services. You will install, splice, test, troubleshoot and repair to ensure service continuity.

The role is full-time, typically Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with possible weekends and overtime. You will drive company vehicles, comply with safety policies, and interact professionally with customers to identify needs and solutions.

Qualifications

• Install, splice, and test fiber optic and copper cables for projects, maintenance and repairs.
• Perform dark fiber, reel, continuity, and conformance testing with industry equipment such as OTDR.
• Read and interpret service orders, blueprints, diagrams to execute work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Install, splice, and test fiber optic and copper cables for projects, maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing fiber and copper networks to ensure service continuity.
• Coordinate testing of customer lines with test centers and document results per standards.
