Job summary

Wyyerd Fiber is seeking a Market Expansion Project Manager to coordinate planning, execution, and closeout of fiber network buildouts across Southern Arizona. The role ensures delivery on time, within scope and budget, while complying with municipal and regulatory guidelines.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Construction, GIS, Operations, and external stakeholders to identify and resolve issues impacting delivery and to pursue joint-build opportunities where feasible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5–10 years in OSP project management
• Knowledge of municipal permitting, ROW administration, utility coordination, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to read and interpret fiber construction maps, engineering drawings and utility plans
• Experience with GIS systems, project management software, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Define and manage end-to-end deployment of fiber network construction in Southern Arizona.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure project alignment and execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with municipalities, utility providers, contractors, and developers.
• Manage ROW license administration and municipal agreements documentation.
• Coordinate conduit opportunities, dark fiber IRUs, and lit service opportunities with partners.
• Oversee CIP planning with municipalities and stakeholders for future expansion.
• Review permit applications and coordinate approvals.
