This hands-on role covers troubleshooting, fiber testing, equipment installation, maintenance, and service restoration across transport and IP networks.

The ideal candidate will have experience with fiber optics, OTDR testing, and Ethernet/SONET/IP networks, with a practical approach to network maintenance and outage response.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fiber optic and telecom troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with testing, installation, provisioning, and maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with Ethernet, SONET, and IP networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain fiber optic and telecom network equipment.
• Perform network testing, installation, provisioning, and maintenance activities.
• Support fiber transport, Ethernet, SONET, and IP network technologies.
• Assist with network restoration and outage response.
• Perform preventive maintenance on network and critical infrastructure equipment.
• Maintain inventory, tools, test equipment, and related documentation.
• Update maintenance records, work logs, and trouble tickets.
