Inova Staffing is seeking a hands-on Laser Operator for the 1st shift to join a precision manufacturing team in Mentor, OH. You will set up and run a fiber optic laser to cut sheet metal components, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistent part quality.

You will read job travelers and drawings, select appropriate thicknesses, perform alignments and inspections, and maintain clean work areas. The role offers growth opportunities and collaboration across departments.

Qualificações

• Experience operating fiber or CO₂ laser cutting equipment.
• Background working with sheet metal or fabricated parts.
• Ability to read blueprints or work travelers.
• Proficient with standard measuring tools for inspection.
• Reliable and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate a fiber optic laser for sheet metal cutting.
• Review job travelers and drawings to confirm specifications.
• Select sheet metal thicknesses and material types per job.
• Perform machine alignments, adjustments, and quality checks.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform light maintenance.
• Cross-train and assist in other departments as needed.
