Job summary

The Armor Group is seeking a skilled laser operator to join our manufacturing team on site in Mason, OH. Responsibilities include operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and adjusting the laser, marking parts, and supporting material handling on the floor.

Qualifications include 3–5 years of laser experience (LVD), Fanuc programming capabilities, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Second shift may be required, with interaction among manufacturing personnel and a project manager.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience using a laser (LVD experience).
• Demonstrated strong past attendance record.
• Programming capabilities with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and adjust laser as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and adjust the laser.
• Perform marking of parts.
• Work second shift if needed.
• Figure material used by checking parts against a list.
• Operate tow motor and crane as required.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by manager.
