Job summary

SendCutSend Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to operate and support CNC fiber laser equipment, producing precision-cut sheet metal parts. You will set up, run, and inspect jobs, read drawings, and maintain 5S and LEAN standards on the production floor.

Responsibilities include verifying programs, tooling, and material, performing startup/shutdown, and collaborating with team leads to meet daily goals. Comfortable handling weights and working in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read production drawings and flat patterns.
• Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers.
• Load material and unload finished parts from machines.
• Verify correct programs, tooling, and material prior to running jobs.
• Perform machine startup, shutdown, and routine daily maintenance.
• Install and set up punches, dies, and job tooling as required.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for proper laser and brake setup.
• Measure parts using gauges and inspection tools to verify angles, dimensions, and overall accuracy meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles.
• Assist with inventory of tooling such as punches and dies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
