Job summary

SendCutSend is seeking a CNC Laser Operator to set up, run, and monitor CNC fiber lasers for precision sheet metal parts. You will verify programs, load materials, and inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet customer specs.

The role requires reading drawings, following safety protocols, and maintaining a clean, organized work area on the manufacturing floor. You will collaborate with team leads and supervisors to hit daily production goals and support Lean/5S practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read production drawings and flat patterns.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers.
• Load material and unload finished parts from machines.
• Verify programs, tooling, and material prior to running jobs.
• Perform machine startup, shutdown, and routine maintenance.
• Install and set up punches, dies, and tooling as required.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for setup.
• Measure parts with gauges to ensure dimensions match specs.
• Collaborate with team leads to meet daily goals and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per LEAN/5S.
• Assist with inventory of punches and dies.
