Job summary

All Points Broadband is seeking a Fiber Installation Technician to install, test, and repair fiber internet and voice services at residential homes. You will work with team members to maintain wiring in the Head-End, Central Office, and customer premises, ensuring high-quality service and safety.

You will troubleshoot using test equipment, explain products to customers, and have opportunities to upsell tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding duties.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair fiber-fed internet and voice services at residential homes.
• Install and maintain wiring in Head-End, Central Office, and customer premises.
• Test functionality and troubleshoot issues with provided equipment.
• Explain products and services to customers and upsell where appropriate.
• Move and manage materials, load/unload trucks, and inventory supplies.
• Drive company vehicle and abide by safety policies and training.
