Qualifications

• 2+ years of utility construction experience acting as a crew leader and/or foreman.
• 1+ year of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Valid driver license with a clean driving record.
• CDL License (or the ability to obtain).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides proficient-level manual labor and operations on safety-sensitive sites (hand digging, setting up traffic control, fiber placement, equipment operations).
• Reads utility prints and maps accurately.
• Operates equipment (directional drill, mini, plow, hydro) after training and follows safety regulations.
• Sets up and shuts down projects, including traffic control in varied conditions.
• Trains crew on fiber installation practices, print reading, equipment operations, and OSHA requirements.
