Job summary

Nuvera Communications is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain voice, video, and internet services for our residential and business customers in Minnesota. You will represent the company in one-on-one client interactions while handling on-site duties and on-call support.

The role includes locating underground cables, installing and servicing cables, splicing, and remote maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Electronic experience, basic wiring, and construction experience are preferred.
• Power Limited Technician License can be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and repair of communication services for residential and business customers, including on-call duties.
• Locate underground fiber optic and copper cables.
• Install/repair underground and aerial cables, conduit, poles, and cable guide wires.
• Splice and install copper and fiber optic cable connection joint housing.
• Provide remote maintenance.
