Job summary

Five Star Infrastructure Services seeks a Field Supervisor to manage fiber subcontractors and oversee fiber construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets while meeting customer requirements.

You will coordinate daily field operations, address challenges, and deliver successful fiber network installations for multiple sites. Strong leadership and five years of fiber construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum of five (5) years in fiber construction field operations or supervision.
• Knowledge of fiber network construction including underground, aerial, splicing, and network design.
• Ability to read and interpret fiber construction prints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; safety/regulatory awareness.
• Experience with project management software and field reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fiber subcontractors on assigned projects.
• Ensure adherence to plans, timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor safety, workmanship, and productivity.
• Report progress, performance concerns, and issues to management.
• Provide leadership and support to subcontractors and field staff.
• Maintain client and subcontractor relations; address concerns.
• Enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance on sites.
• Implement corrective actions and emergency procedures when needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.
• Manage resources: subcontractors, equipment, materials, budgets.
• Maintain records and reports for field activities and safety.
