Job summary

Citadel Pacific Ltd. is seeking a Construction Technician to support the BEAD Project on the island.

Under the Outside Plant Supervisor, you will maintain and extend island-wide external plant, digging and securing fiber and cable lines, microducts, handholes, and conduits, and running new cable where needed. This temporary role requires a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain a valid chauffeurs license.
• Two (2) years of relevant work experience in construction work is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and run new cable lines, microducts, and conduits for both underground and cable plants which would involve the digging of groundwork.
• Install handholes.
• Assist in fiber blowing activities.
• Secure fiber lines, cable lines and hardware.
• Clear vegetation encroaching on cable lines and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
