Job summary

FiberTel, LLC is seeking a Fiber As-Built Coordinator to support our San Jose market. You will coordinate, track, and maintain accurate fiber as-built documentation, manage project ticketing workflows, and support fiber dock and material coordination while ensuring records meet customer and company standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, updating GIS/CAD systems, and coordinating with field crews, engineers, and project managers to ensure timely and compliant project

Qualifications

• 2+ years in telecommunications, utility construction, fiber optic networks, or project coordination.
• Experience with construction documentation, ticketing systems, or project management tools.
• Strong organizational and data management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fiber Documentation & As-Builts: collect, review, and maintain fiber as-built documentation from field crews and subcontractors.
• Ticketing & Project Coordination: manage construction, restoration, and documentation tickets and coordinate with field crews, engineers, and project managers.
• Fiber Dock & Material Coordination: coordinate dock activities, monitor inventory, and verify materials against project requirements.
• Quality Control & Compliance: perform quality reviews and ensure documentation aligns with designs and customer standards.
• Communication & Reporting: serve as a point of contact between field operations, engineering, customers, and internal departments; generate status reports.
