Job summary

FiberTel is seeking a Fiber As-Built Coordinator to support the San Jose market. This role coordinates, tracks, and maintains accurate fiber as-built documentation, supports ticketing workflows, and ensures project records are complete and compliant with customer and company standards.

Pay ranges from $25 to $30 per hour, DOE. A strong emphasis is placed on documentation accuracy, GIS/CAD updates, and cross-functional coordination within field crews and project teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in telecommunications, utility construction, fiber optic networks, or project coordination.
• Experience working with construction documentation, ticketing systems, or project management tools.
• Strong organizational and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and maintain fiber as-built documentation from field crews and subcontractors.
• Verify fiber routes, splice information, handhole locations, conduit paths, and network modifications are accurately documented.
• Coordinate updates to GIS, CAD, mapping platforms, and customer databases.
• Review redlines and field-marked drawings for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure all project documentation meets company and customer requirements prior to closeout.
• Track and manage project documentation through all phases of construction.
