UST is seeking a skilled FIB Technician to support semiconductor sample preparation and analysis. The role involves TEM lamella preparation, FIB system operation, equipment maintenance, and ensuring high-quality lab operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing wafers, selecting regions of interest, performing alignments and calibrations, and collaborating with engineering teams to meet analytical requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years hands-on experience operating FIB systems in a semiconductor/materials environment.
• TEM sample preparation and lamella fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of FIB principles and wafer handling.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment.

Aufgaben

• Prepare wafer and samples for analysis, including cleaning and handling.
• Operate FIB systems to create TEM lamellae of high quality.
• Identify regions of interest and optimize milling conditions.
• Perform FIB alignments, calibrations, and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with service providers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on wafer evaluations and requirements.
• Communicate results to internal stakeholders and support lab workflow and turnaround.
• Monitor WIP and contribute to process improvements.
