Job summary

Headway Technologies is seeking a FIB/SEM Process Technician for Milpitas, CA. This role supports wafer characterization using Dual Beam microscopes and performs TEM sample preparation and failure analysis in a fast-paced lab setting.

The position requires an Associate degree in Electronics or Industrial Technology and at least two years in semiconductor environments, with strong data analysis and safety awareness. Weekend shifts on a C-Shift may apply, with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics or Industrial Technology and/or equivalent relevant experience.
• Two years of experience working in the semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes and procedures; specifically integration and characterization.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform sophisticated and high-throughput TEM lamella sample preparation.
• Support wafer characterization and engineering processes for Dual Beam TEM sample preparation.
• Use SEM or Dual Beam for imaging and perform failure analysis as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic microscope issues.
• Suggest improvements to procedures or processes for continuous improvement.
• Communicate findings and results clearly to team members and management.
