Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly motivated FIAR & Inventory Compliance Specialist to join the Support Equipment Fleet Management Team. You will act as the primary FIAR compliance focal point for DoD asset management, collaborating with Fleet Managers, PSPs, and warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, information systems, data analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years in inventory management, logistics, government property management, compliance, audit support, or related disciplines; or 3yrs with an advanced degree.
• Experience supporting projects, continuous improvement activities, or cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government–issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Support FIAR compliance activities by ensuring adherence to Government Property Management requirements, audit standards, and internal control procedures.
• Perform detailed analysis of SAP, SEAL, and related enterprise system data to identify inventory discrepancies, transactional errors, and compliance gaps; document issues and support corrective action implementation.
• Monitor and prepare reports on FIAR performance metrics, inventory accuracy indicators, and audit readiness status for review by the M4 manager and other stakeholders.
• Support execution of Support Equipment inventory accountability and FIAR compliance tasks across CONUS and OCONUS depot locations, ensuring consistent application of policies, procedures, and Government Property requirements.
• Maintain asset records, functional locations, equipment status updates, serviceability data, UNCO transactions, and EDEL processes to ensure accurate system representation of Government-owned property in the Global Spares Pool (GSP).
• Assist investigations into inventory variances, audit findings, and property management deficiencies; participate in root cause reviews and support closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Contribute to FIAR-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen internal controls, reduce compliance risk, and enhance inventory visibility and accountability.
• Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, supporting multiple priorities and responding to audit inquiries, compliance questions, and urgent inventory issues.
