Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co is seeking a Sourcing Manager - FF&E to support the Design & Construction and Finance teams in managing contract commitments, invoicing, and vendor coordination for capital projects. The role collaborates with 3rd party agents, tracks deposits, and ensures compliance with policies.

The ideal candidate has accounting knowledge, strong organizational skills, and experience with Oracle databases. Travel is limited and experience in purchasing/construction is valued.

Qualifications

• Understanding and knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Results driven; Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to manage large volumes of data.
• Discipline and self-motivation with strong ability to multitask.
• Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and have experience with databases.
• Travel - Less than 5%.
• Minimum of three (3) years of project accountant experience.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• BS/BA degree preferred in finance, accounting or relevant/similar discipline but not required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Contract commitments, processing, tracking change orders & invoice processing.
• Review and verify vendor invoice compliance prior to Project Manager's review and approval.
• Collaborate with 3rd Party Purchasing Agents and Design Teams to ensure timely processing and reporting of commitments.
• Track monthly billings and prepare regular update reports for Project Manager review.
• Assist in bidding and preparing FF&E purchase orders from design team specs when needed.
• Build vendor contact list for FF&E commodities and maintain OS&E library with specs and unit costs.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings; may work varying schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
