Job summary

Sundance Institute is seeking a Junior Network Administrator to oversee the Sundance Film Festival network and related services. The role collaborates with Technology Services and Institute offices to respond to queries, document changes, and assist with testing, diagnosis, and resolution of outages, all while meeting deadlines.

The position is based in Boulder, CO, full-time, with hybrid on-site work and extended hours including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in LAN/WAN management and administration.
• Ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate activities.
• Understanding of network security.
• Strong communication skills to work with diverse teams.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, management, performance, and security of Sundance Festival network.
• Provide support, document changes, assist with testing, diagnosis and resolution of outages.
• Set up and maintain TCP/IP LAN/WAN with routing and QoS.
• Plan and support WiFi infrastructure and WAN for festival venues.
• Maintain detailed network design documentation.
• Plan networking needs for other events.
