Job summary

Kindbody in Rogers, AR seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to support fertility and Gyne operations. You will perform high-volume phlebotomy, manage supplies, and ensure lab orders reach the correct labs using the EMR and lab portals.

You will assist providers with procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and take vital signs while delivering compassionate patient care. You will document care in logs and records, educate patients pre/post op, and collaborate with the team to meet program

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program.
• Ability to administer intramuscular injections.
• 2+ years in Gynecology or fertility is a plus.
• 1+ year experience in Gynecology procedures.
• 2+ years experience with EMR usage.
• 1-2 years experience in supply ordering and inventory.
• Knowledge of medical instruments and sterilization.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• High volume of phlebotomy.
• Maintain and inventory supplies for clinical operations.
• Ensure lab specimens are ordered, collected, and sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records.
• Utilize Kindbody's proprietary EMR system and online laboratory portals to place lab orders and print patient labels.
• Assist provider or ultrasound technician with various fertility and GYN procedures.
• Prepare and maintain a safe surgical environment.
• Sterilization of medical instruments using an autoclave.
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
• Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders.
• Provide pre and post op education.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
• Ensure patient environment is set up, organized and clean.
• Work independently to achieve program goals.
• Willing to train new team members.
• Support and promote excellence in customer service.
• Provide feedback to HQ on process improvement and job specifications.
