Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility, Inc. in Washington state seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support patients through their fertility journey. The role involves clinical assistance, patient education, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

This is a full-time, onsite position in Tacoma with specific 6:45 AM–3:45 PM and 6:45 AM–2:30 PM weekend hours. Responsibilities include patient check-in, phlebotomy, vitals, injections, EMR updates, and preparing for ultrasounds and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program and an active WA state license.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Strong phlebotomy skills preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, verify medical history, and update EMR records.
• Support healthcare providers during exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Take vital signs, draw blood, and administer injections.
• Prepare and room patients for ultrasounds and procedures.
• Handle medication samples and inventory, with stock reconciliation.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and equipment functioning.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and medication instructions.
• Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and referrals accurately.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide compassionate patient service and timely responses to questions.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
