Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis seeks a fellowship-trained traumaplasty surgeon to join our Orthopaedic Department. New graduates and mid-career arthroplasty and trauma surgeons are welcome to apply. Call will be approximately 1:8 general orthopaedic level 1 adult and pediatric trauma call, including hand trauma and infections.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Current license to practice in Minnesota.
• Board certified/eligible.
• Orthopaedic Surgery residency completed.
• Traumaplasty, Arthroplasty, or Trauma fellowship completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized trauma and orthopaedic care with focus on hip/knee arthroplasty.
• Manage general orthopaedic trauma and hand-call responsibilities.
• Collaborate with department surgeons on patient care and teaching.
• Participate in very busy Level I trauma unit call schedule.
