Hennepin Healthcare seeks a fellowship-trained traumaplasty surgeon to join our Orthopaedic Department in Minneapolis. New graduates and mid-career arthroplasty and trauma surgeons are welcome.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree and Minnesota medical license.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Completion of ACGME/AOA/RCPSC approved Orthopaedic Surgery residency.
  • Fellowship in Traumaplasty, Arthroplasty, or Trauma.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized trauma and arthroplasty care to a diverse patient population.
  • Collaborate closely with Orthopaedic surgeons and partners on patient care and teaching.
  • Participate in clinical teaching programs for students, APPs, residents, and fellows.
  • Contribute to an active clinical research program.

New graduates and mid-career arthroplasty and trauma surgeons are welcome to apply. Our practice emphasizes close collaboration among department surgeons regarding patient care and teaching. We seek someone who wants to provide specialized care to a diverse population, while benefiting from our highly collegial group.Call will be approximately 1:8 general orthopaedic level 1 adult and pediatric trauma call, including damage control hand trauma and infections. Our center does not perform digit replants/revascularization, and all spine care is managed by our Neurosurgeons.
