Job summary

The Office of Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) seeks a Graduate Medical Education Program Specialist to support administration, accreditation and coordination of the agency’s fellowship programs in Forensic Pathology and related areas. This is a per-diem role averaging about 20 hours weekly in New York City.

The specialist will ensure compliance with ACGME requirements, assist with documentation, and work with DIO, Associate Program Directors, fellows and staff to sustain accreditation and program

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college is required.
• Two years of full-time experience related to projects and policies.
• Experience supporting graduate medical education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and coordination of OCME's accredited fellowship programs.
• Maintain knowledge of ACGME requirements and ADS submissions.
• Coordinate site visits, documentation and meetings for accreditation.
• Provide administrative support for GMEC activities and records.
