Job summary

Chicago Cat Clinic, Chicago's oldest feline-only clinic, seeks a Client Service Representative to deliver an exceptional client experience and manage front-desk operations, records, and appointment tracking.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, the CSR handles calls, payments, inventory, and client communications with compassion and professionalism, supporting clinicians and ensuring smooth daily workflow.

Qualifications

• Patience, compassion, and professional demeanor when interacting with doctors, teammates, clients, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Leads opening/closing procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness of front desk and waiting areas.
• Processes payments (cash, checks, cards, credit accounts).
• Schedules appointments per doctor preferences and workflow.
• Updates client/patient files and sends client correspondence.
• Sends reminder notices and follows up with clients.
• Backs up computer system as directed.
• Presents medications and take-home items to clients.
• Handles emergencies per clinic policies.
• Addresses client concerns calmly to ensure satisfaction.
