Fehrer Automotive North America in Duncan, SC, seeks an Industrial Engineer assistant to support process and equipment problem solving. You will run tests, collect data, and help create process instructions and BOM updates.
Requirements include an associate degree in engineering and 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with reading blueprints, SPC charting, and MS Office is desirable.
Provides assistance to Industrial Engineers in resolving process and/or equipment problems. Works with production to resolve manufacturing problems to ensure that process specifications are followed. Run engineering tests and experiments; collects data; reports results.

Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing environment. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.
Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.
Mathematics—knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics and how they apply
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to apply principles of logic to duties and responsibilities
