Job summary

Novolex's Burrows Packaging in Mt. Vernon, OH is seeking a Feeder Packer to prepare materials, feed them into machinery, inspect finished products for quality, and package items for shipments.

Shifts are Days 7:00am–7:00pm or Nights 7:00pm–7:00am on a 2-2-3 schedule with starting pay of $21.24/hour plus $0.75/hour shift differential. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be willing to work overtime. Benefits and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or similar physical labor experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to read and follow daily paperwork and production orders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack product per customer specification using safe work practices
• Identify and communicate product quality deviations; assist with resolution
• Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork
• Read & understand Production Orders
• Assist the Operator with set-up and/or change over activities as directed
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures
• Actively engage in safety programs
• Assist other team members as needed
• Lifting up to 50 pounds as required
