Job summary

Versova in La Rue, OH is seeking a Feed Mill Tech to ensure efficient operation of the feed mill, including receiving, processing, and distributing feed ingredients. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and safety of feed production, contributing to the overall success of Trillium Farms.

You will work under the Feed Mill Manager, performing SOP-based equipment operation, assisting with bin cleaning, maintaining logs, and upholding safety policies and core values.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 60 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Must pass respirator exam for respirator use.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility in work hours including potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Learn and manage material flows for receiving ingredients, reclaiming, grinding corn, mixing, and routing finished feed.
• Operate equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with annual corn bin cleaning in preparation for the new harvest.
• Inspect and maintain daily Feed Mill Building and Grounds Keeper logs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external feed safety and site safety policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Promote a workplace culture aligned with Trillium’s Guiding Principles and Core Values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

• Compliance with all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
