Job summary

Versova's Trillium Farms in La Rue, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Feed Mill Tech to ensure efficient operation of the feed mill, including receiving, processing, and distributing feed ingredients. This role supports quality and safety in production and contributes to the farm's overall success.

You will learn and manage material flows, operate equipment per SOPs, assist with corn bin cleaning, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 185 ft and in confined spaces.
• Pass a respirator exam for respirator use.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility in work hours, including potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Learn and manage material flows for receiving ingredients, reclaiming, grinding corn, mixing, and routing finished feed.
• Operate equipment according to SOPs.
• Assist with annual corn bin cleaning in preparation for the new harvest.
• Inspect and maintain daily Feed Mill Building and Grounds Keeper logs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all feed safety and site safety policies, regulations, and procedures.

Job Summary

The Feed Mill Tech is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the feed mill, including receiving, processing, and distributing feed ingredients. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and safety of feed production, contributing to the overall success of Trillium Farms.

• Operate equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with annual corn bin cleaning in preparation for the new harvest.
• Inspect and maintain daily Feed Mill Building and Grounds Keeper logs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external feed safety and site safety policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Promote a workplace culture aligned with Trillium's Guiding Principles and Core Values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
