Job summary

The Feed Mill Tech at Trillium Farms – La Rue, Ohio, reports to the Feed Mill Manager and supports the efficient operation of the feed mill. You will handle receiving, processing, and distributing feed ingredients while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key duties include managing material flows, operating equipment per SOPs, assisting with corn bin cleaning, maintaining logs, and ensuring compliance with feed safety and site policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 185 feet and in confined spaces.
• Ability to pass a respirator exam for respirator use.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility in work hours, including potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Learn and manage material flows for receiving ingredients, reclaiming, grinding corn, mixing, and routing finished feed.
• Operate equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with annual corn bin cleaning in preparation for the new harvest.
• Inspect and maintain daily Feed Mill Building and Grounds Keeper logs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external feed safety and site safety policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Promote a workplace culture aligned with Trillium’s Guiding Principles and Core Values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
