Job summary

Versova is seeking a Pallet Jack Operator in Croton, Ohio to transport finished pallets into the cooler, wrap them, and prep for shipment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while following safety regulations.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, warehouse experience, PIT Class III Electric Hand Truck certification, and strong teamwork.

• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization within the work area.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Compensation: Starting at $20/hour, plus benefits and bonuses

Job Summary

The Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for transporting finished pallets into the cooler, wrapping pallets, and properly storing them for shipment. This role is crucial in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring product integrity before distribution.

Essential Job Functions

• Transport finished pallets into the cooler using an electric pallet truck.
• Properly wrap all finished pallets and place them in designated storage areas for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts of products in the cooler.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization within the work area.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Proficiency in operating electric pallet jacks (Class III Electric Hand Truck).
• Basic understanding of warehouse inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and organizing products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse experience.
• Completion of the P.I.T. Class III Electric Hand Truck certification (provided by Trillium Farms).
• Ability to continuously work at a fast pace for up to 3 hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production or refrigerated warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems.
• Additional certifications in warehouse operations or forklift operation.
• Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and communicate effectively.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to cool temperatures.
