Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Feed Mill Receiving Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for receiving and verifying raw ingredients and placing them in the correct locations to ensure safe, high-quality poultry products.

The role includes unloading bulk loads, sampling for lab tests, inventory monitoring, and maintaining a clean receiving area. A forklift certification is required, and the position offers a base pay with shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

Some computer skills.
Good communication skills.
Comfortable with climbing high structures.
Able to lift more than 30lbs.
Able to work in dusty environment.
Able to work in hot or cold temperatures.
Able to obtain a forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Unloads bulk ingredient loads and collects samples for the lab.
Monitors ingredient inventories and communicates with the feed mill elevator purchasing agent.
Cleans work area and maintains good housekeeping in receiving area.
Unloads bag ingredients from semi-trailers and stocks them in the warehouse.
Other duties as assigned.
