Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring a Raw Receiving Attendant to support our Protein Conversion team. In this hourly role, you will unload trailers, monitor raw material flow, and maintain clean, safe processing areas.

Responsibilities include operating PITs, following food safety procedures, and assisting with daily tasks to ensure efficient plant operations. High attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; good communication skills.
• Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.
• Must be able to learn and operate PITs and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stage raw materials from trailers and open-top trucks to ensure proper flow into the protein conversion process.
• Monitor bins and receiving areas to prevent overflows, contamination, or production disruptions.
• Perform daily/weekly sanitation to meet food safety standards.
• Learn and support all tasks in the Protein Conversion area to maintain efficient operations.
• Safely operate PITs and other material-handling equipment; keep workspace clean and safe.
