Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Feed Mill Receiving Operator to verify and receive raw ingredients and place them in proper locations. You will unload bulk and bagged ingredients, collect samples for lab, and maintain a clean receiving area.

The role includes a base hourly rate of $22.19 plus a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with attendance incentives and benefits after eligibility. This posting reflects a hands-on, safety-first manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Simple computer tasks and basic software usage.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to climb structures and operate safely in a warehouse setting.
• Lift capability of 30lbs or more is required.
• Ability to work in dusty environments.
• Ability to work in hot or cold conditions.
• Forklift certification is preferred or obtainable during employment.

Feed Mill Receiving Operator

Join our Feed Mill team and play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality poultry products to customers.The receiving operator is responsible for receiving and verifying raw ingredients and place into proper locations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Unloads bulk ingredient loads and collects samples from loads for the lab.
• Monitors ingredient inventories and communicates with feed mill elevator purchasing agent.
• Cleans work area and maintains good housekeeping in receiving area.
• Unloads bag ingredients from semi-trailers and stocks them in the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Some computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable with climbing high structures
• Able to lift more than 30lbs
• Able to work in dusty environment
• Able to work in hot or cold temperatures
• Able to obtain a forklift certification
