Job summary

United Animal Health is seeking a dependable operator to safely run mill and warehouse equipment, batch, package, store, and ship feed while protecting quality and uptime.

You will handle loading, inventory tasks, and housekeeping, restock and rotate inventory, inspect ingredients, and communicate issues to supervisors. The role involves physical work, exposure to dust and noise, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate feed mill and warehouse equipment in accordance with procedures and safety standards.
• Complete micro batch hand adds for the mixer per production instructions.
• Package and palletize 20-60 lb bags and load shipments with proper labeling.
• Restock, organize, and rotate warehouse inventory including ingredients and pallets.
• Receive, inspect, and rotate incoming ingredients and supplies.
• Pick, stage, and load outbound products for customers and other facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of mill, warehouse, and surrounding areas.
• Report product quality concerns and repair/repack broken bags as needed.
• Perform basic inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Monitor equipment performance and escalate maintenance needs.
• Follow feed safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
