Job summary

The Maschhoffs in Kentucky is seeking a Feed Mill Operator to manage daily manufacturing and load-out of animal feed, prioritizing production orders and maintaining accurate usage records. You will operate pellet mills, receive ingredients, monitor grain quality, and handle inventory flow while keeping safety and housekeeping in line with company SOPs.

A high school diploma is required and 1–3 years in agriculture or related field.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in agriculture or related field.
• Experience in agriculture or related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate feed manufacturing equipment according to SOPs.
• Prioritize daily production orders.
• Maintain daily production records of feed and ingredients.
• Assist in loading complete feed and managing inventory.
• Ensure proper computer adjustments for deviations in deliveries.
• Maintain equipment and housekeeping; observe safety standards.
• Collect ground corn samples for quality checks.
• Retain ingredient samples and finished feed.
