Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a shift supervisor to oversee daily feed mill operations and a team of hourly employees. You will supervise, train, and schedule activities to ensure efficient production, accurate inventories, and timely shipments.

You will enforce safety procedures, participate in safety meetings, and help drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years progressive feed manufacturing experience.
• Associate’s degree preferred in Poultry/Feed Science.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train employees, leading by example and enforcing disciplinary actions as needed.
• Schedule feed mill activities and shipments to meet production needs.
• Oversee inventory, daily reporting, and housekeeping audits.
• Ensure compliance with FSMA and other regulations and complete daily feed mill checklists.
• Support safety meetings and continuous improvement activities.
