Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Mill Supervisor to oversee daily feed mill operations, supervise 8–30 hourly employees, train staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will schedule production, manage inventories, and maintain accurate reporting.

A strong leadership background and experience in feed manufacturing are required. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, quality control, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive feed manufacturing experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Poultry, Animal or Feed Science.
• 3+ years progressive feed manufacturing experience plus 1+ year supervisor experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train employees, providing direction and enforcing actions.
• Provide and enforce safety training.
• Schedule feed mill activities and shipments.
• Schedule production to meet mill requirements and maintain inventories.
• Oversee and manage inventories and daily reporting.
• Review daily production reports and perform housekeeping audits.
• Comply with company policies, FSMA regulations, and laws.
• Perform daily feed mill checklist and related duties.
