Job summary

Insight FS, headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsin, seeks a Feed Mill Leader to oversee daily operations, enforce safety, and ensure compliance with company policies and FSMA regulations.

You will direct production scheduling, inventory management, and reporting, collaborate with the Branch Manager, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer demand and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in a production environment.
• Knowledge of safety practices and FSMA regulations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Feed Mill Branch Manager with directing daily operations.
• Provide and enforce safety training.
• Schedule feed mill activities including manufacturing and shipments.
• Schedule production to meet mill requirements and maintain inventories.
• Oversee inventory management.
• Assist with daily reporting and review production paperwork.
• Perform housekeeping audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, FSMA, and regulations.
• Lead local safety meetings.
• Provide input to location manager on mill employee performance.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and safety policies.
