Job summary

Insight FS in Wisconsin seeks a skilled Mill Operator to operate feed production equipment, mix batches, and load and transport products as directed. The role includes inventory oversight, recordkeeping, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities cover monitoring production, scheduling minor repairs, and adhering to regulatory and safety requirements. Occasional travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift operation certification and a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred; Mixer Loader Pesticide Certification & License preferred.
• Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control mill equipment to mix, process, load and transport feeds and products as directed.
• Assist with inventory and maintain records for all feeds; monitor stock levels and perform physical inventories.
• Maintain safety records and ensure proper use of PPE; report unsafe conditions to management.
• Schedule major equipment repairs and coordinate with the Branch Manager on asset needs.
• Keep location clean and orderly; ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver products to customers and manage transportation depending on schedule.
