Job summary

The role is entry-level, involving cleanliness, unloading ingredients, and assisting with mill operations while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies. Responsibilities include sweeping, keeping areas clean, loading/unloading ingredients, operating PITs, using landscaping tools, and complying with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12 months.
• 1 year feed mill experience preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience operating powered industrial vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed.
• Help with unloading ingredients from rail cars/trucks.
• Clean up feed spills.
• Perform grounds keeping duties including lawn care with mowers and trimmers.
• Use air-driven equipment and air hoses to assist in cleaning activities.
• Move pallets of ingredients using PIT and maintain clean work areas.
