Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Feed Mill Support Operator FM01 for the Neshoba Feed Mill in Union, Mississippi. The role involves cleaning, grounds maintenance, loading ingredients, and basic maintenance support while upholding safety and Tyson policies.

Candidates should have six months of operator experience, prefer one year in a feed mill, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. The position requires physical effort and willingness to work 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Six months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12 months.
• One year feed mill experience preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MS valid class D license with no more than 2 moving violations.
• Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days; max 3 times at Tyson.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean assigned mill areas and sign off when completed.
• Assist with unloading ingredients from rail cars or trucks.
• Clean up feed spills and maintain grounds around the mill.
• Operate landscaping equipment and perform groundkeeping duties.
• Use air blow guns and high pressure hoses for cleaning.
• Move pallets with PIT and wear required PPE.
• Follow Tyson Health and Safety protocols and biosecurity guidelines.
• Communicate with Operations, customers, and vendors as needed.
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required.
