Iowa Select Farms in Iowa Falls is seeking an Assistant Feed Logistics Coordinator to manage feed orders, budgets, and coordination with vendors across farms.

This on-site, full-time role requires meticulous recordkeeping, timely communication, and the ability to balance multiple tasks. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred; weekend and holiday rotations may be required; office and farm site environments.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with fluency in both written and verbal communication is preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple phone calls, emails and process feed orders daily with minimum amount of error’s
• Be accessible and responsive to phone calls and emails in a timely manner
• Multitask and prioritize items throughout the day
• Setup and manage group feed budgets to insure proper feed comes from the correct vendor
• Assist in ordering the correct amount of feed to finish a group of animals out in order to minimize feed transfers
• Coordinate all feed transfers from closed groups to another appropriate group
• Assist in identifying sites needing feed to minimize late order charges.
• Work with sites to have optional delivery days to help feed mills even their daily tonnage out throughout the week
• Maintain accurate written and computer records as required.
