Job summary

Central-Farm-Service is seeking a dedicated CDL driver to efficiently deliver feed to destinations as ordered. You will uphold safety standards, manage pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain positive relationships with customers across routes.

The role emphasizes compliance with DOT regulations, CSA scores, and professional representation of the company while performing additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A or B.
• Maintain DOT medical certification.
• Meet insurability requirements per guidelines.
• At least 1 year of delivery/related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
• Ensure deliveries are performed in a manner that maintains good customer relations.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and strive for excellent CSA scores.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance items to supervisor.
• Maintain equipment in operational and clean condition at all times.
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
