Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security assessments for client information systems in a fast-paced, remote environment. You will guide FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF requirements, mentor teams, and support secure cloud architecture and risk mitigation with a focus on FedRAMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive security assessments for FISMA, NIST RMF, and FedRAMP standards.
• Guide cross-functional teams and lead compliance discussions, demonstrating expert understanding of security frameworks, architectures, and control requirements.
• Author clear, accurate, and original assessment reports, attestations, and customer-facing compliance documentation.
• Mentor team members and support secure cloud architecture design and risk mitigation activities.
