Southwestern Oregon Community College seeks student workers to assist the TRiO Student Support Services department with academic support and transfer assistance. The position is limited to current degree-seeking students enrolled in at least 6 credits and requires maintaining satisfactory academic progress and eligibility for Federal Work-Study.
Typical duties include internet research, data entry, filing, answering phones, and creating flyers.
Assist the TRiO Student Support Services department with providing academic support services to help students graduate from Southwestern, encourage students to transfer to a four-year college or university, and assist with the transfer process.
***This position is only open to Student Workers*** 3 to 20 hours per week
Assist staff members with the following tasks: internet research, data entry, filing, photocopying, answering phone, creating flyers, signing out/in books and supplies, organizing books and supplies, and keeping SSS area tidy.
Must be current degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 6 credits. Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. Must be eligible to receive FWS based on financial need and eligibility requirements determined by FAFSA.
