Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay, OR seeks a student worker to support outreach, communications and general office tasks. The role includes helping with mailings, file purging, social media content and event logistics to connect students, alumni and the community with the college's programs and events.
This position is open to degree-seeking students enrolled in at least 6 credits who qualify for Federal Work-Study and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
Provides essential services to build relationships with students, alumni and the community. Coordinates fundraising campaigns, donor relations, alumni outreach and community outreach. Strategically promotes the college’s career pathways, programs and events aligned with the college’s mission, student success and long-term college success.

*3 to 20 hours per week*
Will help with general office tasks, including file purging, storeroom organization and assisting with mailings. May assist with event planning and logistics. Can help staff with social media, including basic story content generation and planning.
Must be current degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 6 credits. Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Must be eligible to receive FWS based on financial need and eligibility requirements determined by FAFSA.
